**Job Summary:**
The Deli Clerk is a key member of our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality products in our deli department.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and present a wide range of deli products, including salads, meats, sandwiches, and pizzas, to meet customer demands.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
- Order and stock deli merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Practice good housekeeping and sanitation habits, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and management to achieve departmental goals.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a deli or retail environment is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs (22.5 kg) and work in extreme temperatures (freezer or cooler).
- Physical ability to perform day-to-day deli duties, including standing, lifting, bending, moving, carrying, and shelving products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- High level of integrity and work ethic, with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
**Availability:**
Full availability, including days, evenings, and weekends, including Sundays.
