Concurrent Disorder Clinician

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Concurrent Disorder Clinician to join our team in Powell River Mental Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessments, treatment, and support to clients experiencing substance misuse and mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments, including DSM IV diagnosis, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy, couples and family therapy, and education to clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and community resources to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing quality improvement activities.

Qualifications- Master's degree in a Behavioural Health Discipline from a recognized program.
- Three years' recent experience providing professional services to clients with substance abuse and mental health issues.
- Valid BC Driver's License and ability to travel locally.
