Job Title: Family Medicine Specialist

Dr. Brenda Karen Selwyn is seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to identify diseases and injuries.
  • Examine patients' health conditions to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal health and wellness.
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
  • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
  • Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on various health and lifestyle issues.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in family medicine
