Job Title: Sr Data Architecture Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Sr Data Architecture Specialist to join a leading financial institution in Toronto on a contract basis. As a Sr Data Architecture Specialist, you will design, develop, and integrate systems to support a large exfiltration program. You will work with visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Databricks, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Your role will involve implementing network architectures that facilitate secure data transmission and storage. You will apply advanced security techniques, including tokenization, hashing, and encryption, to protect internal systems. Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data architectures to support large-scale exfiltration programs
  • Integrate systems using visualization and analytics tools
  • Implement network architectures for secure data transmission and storage
  • Apply advanced security techniques to protect internal systems

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in system integration and architecture, particularly in the context of data analytics and security
  • Proficiency with analytics tools including Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Databricks, and a strong understanding of data mesh, network architectures, and security protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Previous FI experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with cloud platforms
  • Experience with scripting languages
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
