Landscape Labourer Job Description

JVR Landscape (2006) INC. is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients' properties are well-manicured and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn care tasks to ensure a well-manicured appearance.
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed to enhance the landscape.
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged areas and promote healthy growth.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add color and texture to the landscape.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth and maintain the overall appearance of the landscape.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
  • Excellent client focus, dependability, and interpersonal skills to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
