We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Technician to join our team at General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada Corporation. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for performing rebuild and retrofit tasks, as well as general assembly duties under the supervision of a qualified technician.
Key Responsibilities- Perform rebuild and retrofit tasks, including cleaning vehicles and parts, assisting technicians in other functional areas, and preparing vehicles for painting.
- Understand and apply company safety policies and relevant Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation, and Code.
- Report any accidents, incidents, near misses, and injuries.
- A 310S or 310T license, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Experience working with teams and/or customers.
- Ability to work swing shift and confined spaces.
- The manufacturing/shop floor environment may expose employees to heavy machinery, noise, dust, paint, temperature fluctuations, and hand tools.
