Our company, F&P Mfg., Inc., is a leading manufacturer of automotive parts. We are looking for an experienced Automotive Manufacturing Technician to join our team.
Job Overview:In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, detecting and replacing defective parts, testing and making adjustments to facilities and production equipment. You will also perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment, use programmable logic control systems (PLCs) to program and troubleshoot automated equipment, and read electrical and engineering blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of hand and power tools, be flexible in your work assignments, and skilled at effective communication with people at all levels of the organization. You will also be able to work alone, perform heavy lifting, and work at heights.
Responsibilities:- Detect and replace defective parts
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment
- Use PLCs to program and troubleshoot automated equipment
- Read electrical and engineering blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Work with a variety of hand and power tools
- Industrial (442A) and/or construction maintenance (309A) electrician license
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Robotics field and/or 2-3+ years related experience
- Ability to work in an office and plant environment
