Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

Bridgeway Connection Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled professional to provide support and guidance to children and youth in our community. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality services that promote the well-being and development of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to children and youth, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement life skills workshops to promote healthy development and independence.
  • Assess client needs and develop personalized plans to address their challenges.
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise activities and provide guidance to clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, promoting social connections and community integration.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children and youth.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
