We are seeking an ambitious and energetic full-time medical, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatologist to join our growing team in beautiful British Columbia.

About the Role

The primary function of the dermatologist is to provide continued, specialized care to patients with skin-related concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional patient care at all times and create a friendly and inviting environment for patients.
  • Conduct patient skin assessment, treatment planning and implementation, and evaluation of treatments for effective outcomes.
  • Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients.
  • Perform follow-up care for existing patients and/or refer to an internal general practitioner for continuation of care.
  • Assist with coaching the nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care.
  • Participate in training and education opportunities provided by the company.
  • Adhere to company policies and protocols.
  • Work with the marketing team to build and promote a personal social media presence.
  • Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for the medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology field.
  • Certifications for lasers, Botox, and/or dermal filler are an asset but not required.
  • Prior experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine industry is an asset, but not required.
