Overview

At KPMG in Canada, you'll be part of a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results for our clients. Our US Corporate Tax practice is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.

The Opportunity

We're looking for someone with a strong background in US tax law and a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the field. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex and challenging tax projects, including tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation and review of US corporate and partnership tax returns for multinational clients.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for various clients.
  • Work closely with Managers and Partners on tax planning and advisory engagements.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our practice by identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Currently pursuing or has obtained a US CPA designation, Enrolled Agent or US Masters of Tax.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.
  • Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple priorities.
