US Corporate Tax Expert Role

At KPMG Canada, you'll be part of a team of skilled professionals who help organizations navigate complex tax challenges. Our US Corporate Tax practice assists clients in making informed decisions about their tax structure, capitalization, and financing methods. We also provide guidance on US tax compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a wide range of complex tax engagements, requiring in-depth analysis, assessment, and quantification.
  • Prepare or review US corporate and partnership tax returns for multinational clients, as well as US tax provisions for public and private companies.
  • Collaborate with Managers and Partners on tax planning and advisory engagements.
  • Work closely with leading tax practitioners in their field and have opportunities for career growth and mentoring.


Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a public accounting firm.
  • In the process of obtaining a US CPA designation, Enrolled Agent, or US Master's in Tax.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Keen to assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for various clients.
  • Willing to learn new skills by researching a wide variety of tax issues.
  • Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand clients' businesses and maintain strong client relationships.
