Job Summary

As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
  • Payroll and Tax Compliance: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and prepare tax returns.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances, and provide insights to management to inform business decisions.
  • Accounting Systems: Maintain and update accounting software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
