We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Farm Worker to join our team at Out of the Blue Lifestyle Inc.

Job Summary

The General Farm Worker will be responsible for performing various tasks related to farming, including applying fertilizers, cleaning crops, and clearing fields of wood and stones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fertilizers to crops to promote healthy growth
  • Clean crops to ensure they are free from debris and pests
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare them for planting
  • Cultivate crops on vertical farming systems
  • Cut agricultural crops at the appropriate time
  • Hand harvest vegetables and fruits
  • Harvest seedlings and maintain their growth
  • Sort fruits and vegetables to ensure they are of high quality
  • Weeding to prevent the growth of unwanted plants
  • Clean the work area to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market
Work Environment

The General Farm Worker will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on producing high-quality crops. The work site environment will be a combination of fruit and vegetable farming.

Requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling
