Job Title: General Farm Worker

We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Farm Worker to join our team at Out of the Blue Lifestyle Inc.

Job Summary

The General Farm Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to fruit and vegetable combination farming, including applying fertilizers, cleaning crops, and clearing fields of wood and stones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fertilizers to crops to promote healthy growth
  • Clean crops to ensure they are free from debris and contaminants
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare them for planting
  • Cultivate crops on vertical farming systems
  • Cut agricultural crops to prepare them for harvest
  • Hand harvest vegetables to ensure they are of the highest quality
  • Harvest seedlings to prepare them for planting
  • Maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
  • Sort fruits and vegetables to ensure they are of the highest quality
  • Weeding to prevent the growth of weeds that can compete with crops for water and nutrients
  • Clean the work area to ensure it is safe and efficient
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
