We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Farm Worker to join our team at Out of the Blue Lifestyle Inc.
Job Summary:The General Farm Worker will be responsible for performing various tasks related to fruit and vegetable combination farming, including applying fertilizers, cleaning crops, and clearing fields of wood and stones.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply fertilizers to crops to promote healthy growth
- Clean crops to ensure quality and freshness
- Clear fields of wood and stones to maintain a safe working environment
- Cultivate crops on vertical farming systems
- Cut agricultural crops to prepare them for harvest
- Hand harvest vegetables to ensure quality and freshness
- Harvest seedlings to promote healthy growth
- Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
- Sort fruits and vegetables to ensure quality and freshness
- Weeding to maintain a healthy and safe working environment
- Clean work area to maintain a safe and healthy working environment
- Harvest crops to ensure quality and freshness
- Examine product for quality and readiness for market
- Ability to work independently
- Handling heavy loads
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of communication
- 35-40 hours of work per week
