About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Respiratory Rehabilitation Nurse Educator. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with chronic respiratory diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to educate patients with chronic respiratory diseases using evidence-based best practices.
  • Develop and implement teaching strategies, lesson plans, and exercises to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
  • Participate in research clinical trials and contribute to the development of educational resources.
  • Maintain current knowledge of developments in respiratory medicine through literature reviews, conferences, and networking.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and three years' recent related experience.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence in teaching groups of patients and allied healthcare professionals.
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Working Environment

This role will be based at Fraser Health, where you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of respiratory rehabilitation programs.

Compensation Package

The salary for this position is approximately $87,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
