About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team in Barrie/Orillia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting audits, preparing working papers, and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits and prepare working papers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Streamline the preparation of year-end engagements and tax returns for clients across diverse industries
  • Establish and cultivate positive working relationships with clients, addressing their requests and suggestions promptly
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Maintain ongoing communication with team members regarding progress updates and issues
