Your Opportunity

Our Barrie office is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance team and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in various industries with efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform audits on a range of organizations, prepare working papers, and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Build strong relationships with clients, respond effectively to their requests, and provide exceptional service
  • Participate in business development initiatives, identify new opportunities with existing clients, and contribute to the growth of the Assurance team
  • Communicate progress updates and issues with team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective problem-solving
  • Invest in the professional development of team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth

Your Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Completed CPA designation or in the process of completion
  • 2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry
  • Experience working in the non-profit industry, with a desire to develop further knowledge in this area
  • Strong teamwork, client service, and quality work skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
