Your Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team in Barrie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in various industries.
  • Performing audits on a variety of organizations, preparing working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards.
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and effectively responding to their requests and suggestions.
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Engaging in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team.

Your Qualifications

  • You have completed your CPA designation or are in the process of completion.
  • You have 2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
  • You enjoy working within the non-profit industry and are keen to develop further knowledge in this area.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
