Acme Logistics Ltd is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery
- Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
- Operate and maintain a semi-trailer truck, performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
- Valid passport
- Driver's validity licence check
- Driving record check (abstract)
- Drug test
- Travel expenses paid by employer
- Valid driver's licence
- Willingness to travel cross-border and for extended periods
As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be required to work overtime and be willing to relocate.
