Leasing Administrator Role

The Leasing Administrator will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent tenant service and responding to tenant requests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Conducting periodic inspections of the property and tenant spaces to ensure compliance with leases and proper upkeep.
  • Maintaining accurate property and lease files, and preparing and maintaining tenant lease files, records, and correspondence.
  • Coordinating the production and ordering of signs and tenant identification.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly charges and transaction-related documents.
  • Ensuring the property is rented to its fullest capacity through effective marketing strategies.
  • Dealing with resident concerns and requests in a timely manner to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Collecting and processing rents in a timely manner.

Requirements include:

  • Completion of a post-secondary education in a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of best practices related to leases and service contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of The Residential Tenancies Act.
  • Experience dealing with the Landlord and Tenant Board.
  • In-depth property management knowledge, including building operations, customer service, occupational health and safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset.
