Job Title: Building Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to join our team at Ocean Equities Limited. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and upholding the company's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other trades.
  • Supervision: Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment, supplies, and materials, ensuring that everything is properly stored, secured, and accounted for.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks to employees, customers, and the public.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, dependability.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Varied, including indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling.
