Building Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to join our team at Ocean Equities Limited. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and upholding the company's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other trades.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage budgets and costs associated with maintenance and repairs, ensuring that expenses are minimized and value for money is achieved.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in a safe and healthy manner, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train.
- Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate.
- Equipment: Carpet cleaning machine, steam cleaners, power lawn mowers, security system, small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments), snowblower.
- Transportation: Own transportation, own vehicle, valid driver's license.
- Work Environment: Work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Dependability: Dependable and reliable.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills.
- Flexibility: Flexible and adaptable.
- Initiative: Takes initiative and is proactive.
- Organization: Organized and able to prioritize tasks.
- Compensation: Piece work.
