Estimated Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, based on Canadian medical specialist salaries in Saskatoon.

Job Description

The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary care environment at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon City Hospital and St Paul's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide service delivery for adult infectious diseases
  • Be part of the Infection Prevention and Control team
  • Be part of the Antimicrobial Stewardship program

Research Focus:

The ideal candidate will have research interests in diagnosis and treatment of infections in immunocompromised individuals, as well as antimicrobial stewardship, quality improvements and patient safety.

Requirements:

  • Certification in internal medicine and infectious diseases
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
