Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at St. Pauls Hospital in Saskatoon. As a member of our Acute&Critical Care Respiratory Services department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with physicians and staff.

About the Role

This part-time regular position offers 6 shifts of 11.78 hours per 4 weeks, providing flexibility and work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have a Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT) and be registered/eligible with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapist (CSRT) and Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapist (SCRT).

In this role, you will:

  • Implement physician orders for respiratory patient care
  • Consult with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Provide patient education on therapy techniques
  • Maintain respiratory equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience
  • Registration/eligibility with CSRT and SCRT
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems quickly
