Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise SAP HANA Expert to join our team at Adobe.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-impact solutions using SAP HANA and S/4 HANA landscapes. They will be responsible for developing and implementing BI/reporting strategies, building new/existing Native HANA models, views, and BOBJ reports and dashboards, and proficient in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Impact development and delivery of BI/reporting strategy based on Native HANA/HANA Live that supports future-state goals while optimizing current service portfolio.
  • Build and improve new/existing Native HANA models, views, and BOBJ reports and dashboards to meet business needs and in accordance with business priorities and IT standards.
  • Proficient in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems.
  • HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
  • Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA system.
  • Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory.
  • HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, Modelling.
  • SAP Business Objects and HANA integration, Design document, RFPs, and estimation plans.
  • Experience with high availability and backup mechanism.
  • Solid grasp of SLT methodologies and replication techniques.
  • Implementing SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Basis tasks: technical planning, installations and configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, SAP Router...), upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, installation of SSL certificates. Familiar with BRTOOLS for Space management.
  • Hands-on experience of implementation and conversion for S/4HANA solutions.
  • Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery.
  • Proficiency in the HANA knowledge including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration (DMO tool) and upgrades.
  • Strong SQL scripting knowledge, crafting Stored procedures, solve performance issue optimization of the code.
  • Experience in SAP data Archiving.
  • Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems. Exposure to different remote access options in HANA system.
  • Hardware, operating systems (LINUX) and networking connectivity required for the SAP environment.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning and system integration.
  • Early Watch configuration and analysis. Transport Management.
  • Automation of SAP basis tasks through different development and scripting approaches
  • Incident Management: Troubleshooting the issues from OS level like work process monitoring, checking logs, checking OSS notes, provide Performance analysis and suggest solution to write the Root Cause Analysis.
  • Build Adobe standard documentation.
  • Provide On-call support during weekday and weekends as per the schedule.
  • Certification in SAP S/4 HANA and OS/DB Migration will be a plus.
  • SAP BASIS/NetWeaver certification is a plus.
  • SAP Fiori knowledge is helpful.
  • Skills on Linux is required.
  • Strong SAP Basis experience in Data Archiving and Content Server Strategies

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP HANA and S/4 HANA landscapes.
  • Proven expertise in BI/reporting strategies, Native HANA models, views, and BOBJ reports and dashboards.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP HANA system administration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA system.
  • Familiarity with SAP Basis tasks: technical planning, installations and configurations, upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions, SSO configuration, and installation of SSL certificates.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with Adobe and/or SAP HANA would be beneficial but not necessary. A strong understanding of the company's products and services is desired.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
