Enterprise SAP S/4 HANA Security Strategist

At High Cliff Partners Inc., we are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Application Security expert to join our Ottawa-based project immediately. This role will run until the end of March 2025 with potential for extension in a hybrid work setting requiring 2 on-site days. To be eligible, all candidates must hold Canadian Federal Government Secret Security Clearance.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and management of SAP HANA security architecture within complex SAP environments. This critical position ensures robust security protocols and compliance across large-scale SAP implementations. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to shape, configure, and support comprehensive security frameworks, delivering seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of security architecture across various SAP environments, including HANA S/4, Suite on HANA, CRM, C4C, HCM, SuccessFactors, ECC, and other SAP solutions.
  • Development of SAP S/4 HANA application security design and configuration aligned with best practices, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership of SAP security requirements gathering and analysis sessions to understand client needs and develop security strategies tailored to their SAP landscape.
  • Design and configuration of SAP security components, emphasizing HANA environments, across the full implementation lifecycle – from design to deployment.
  • Expert advice on SAP security strategies and implementation best practices.
  • Creation and maintenance of comprehensive security documentation, including policies, configuration procedures, and user guides.
  • Assistance to clients in embedding security frameworks within their organizational structure, ensuring smooth integration and ongoing adherence to security protocols.
Requirements
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of cumulative experience, within the twelve years preceding the issuance date of this TA, working as a Technical Architect.
  • Certification as a Technical (SAP Basis for ECC, BW, or S/4HANA solutions) professional.
  • Previous experience directly responsible for Technical Architecture oversight on 2 complete SAP project life cycles based on either SAP ASAP or Activate methodology (or equivalent service provider SAP methodology).
  • Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance – Secret.
  • Licence to work in Canada.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
