We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Haveli Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our Indian cuisine and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
    • Plan and execute menu items, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
    • Ensure that kitchen operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have what we need to meet customer demand.
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food is safe and of high quality.
  • Team Management
    • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Provide feedback and coaching to kitchen staff to help them improve their performance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Indian cuisine.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
