Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
