PCL Constructors Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Risk Management: Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of our company-wide risk management process, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and risk appetite.
- Risk Identification: Conduct risk identification through assessments, analyzing contracts, documents, statistics, reports, and market trends to evaluate and quantify risks.
- Advice and Direction: Provide expert advice, counsel, and direction on risk and insurance matters to internal stakeholders, including Operations and Corporate Services.
- Leadership and Management: Direct and manage outsourced service providers in insurance, finance, and legal areas, and participate in negotiations with owners and third parties.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and implement training programs to educate and build risk awareness within the organization.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in risk management and/or insurance.
- Education: Post-secondary degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or Law.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, results-oriented, excellent analytic, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a strong technical acumen in insurance and risk management.
