Senior Credit Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AVP, Credit Risk Management, Diversified to join our team. As a key member of our Credit Risk Management function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of credit risk across our diversified lending portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct credit adjudication and leadership to branches across our diversified lending verticals and geography.
- Develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies to minimize loan loss experience.
- Collaborate with business leaders and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with CWB's risk appetite and strategic direction.
- Supervise designated business centre lenders and adjudicators to ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures.
- Provide expert guidance on credit risk management and lending practices to CWB employees.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or Accounting fields.
- MBA, Professional Accounting designation, or CFA.
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in commercial and corporate lending, including direct client-facing and underwriting positions.
