About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Control Consultant to join our Property and Casualty team.

As a Risk Control Consultant, you will collaborate with internal business partners, clients, regulatory authorities, and industry professionals on Risk Control issues. This position involves the identification and mitigation of physical and operational hazards to help our organizations manage their potential to losses and improve their overall cost of risk.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and champion the required Insurance Risk Control client service focus by understanding clients' needs and cultivating trusting relationships with clients and Intact partners.
  2. Proactively identify opportunities to better serve clients by delivering innovative services and solutions.
  3. Support client retention and business development with Risk Control strategies and initiatives.
  4. Provide insurance marketing support via Risk Control Reports, outlining recommendations for improvement.
  5. Pursue continuous learning & development, seeking opportunities to build new skills that deliver value to our Intact Clients and Partners.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Property Risk Control for large commercial/industrial/manufacturing and (commercial) liability insurance.
  • Superior knowledge of relevant Fire Protection Codes and Standards (NFPA).
  • Knowledge in completing design reviews for water-based fire protection systems, aided with experience in conducting inspections and testing.
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with the ability to work independently.
