Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver courses within the Diagnostic Medical Imaging program using best practices and adult education principles.
  • Develop and implement course learning outcomes, alternative delivery strategies, and assessment techniques that support program goals.
  • Create an effective learning environment that accommodates students' diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, experiences, and individual learning styles.
  • Assess student achievement of learning outcomes and provide timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create and maintain a collaborative and relevant learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree in Diagnostic Medical Imaging or a related field of study.
  • CMRITO registration required.
  • 5 years of recent and relevant clinical experience required.
  • Clinical/didactic teaching experience is preferred.
  • Previous accreditation experience in a clinical and/or educational environment is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent and relevant experience supporting students with learning differences.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching at the post-secondary level.
  • Experience adapting curriculum/course learning to suit students' needs.
  • Advanced computer literacy and a willingness to acquire and use learning tools commensurate with departmental requirements.

The salary range for this position is $80.62 per hour.
