LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is a leading provider of laboratory diagnostic information in Canada. We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Lab Technologist to join our Chemistry and Hematology team.
This part-time role offers flexible shift work, suitable for maintaining a healthy work-life balance with up to 20 hours of scheduled shifts per week.
The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing, including quality control and assurance. Strong computer skills and knowledge are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned diagnostic testing, including quality control, quality assurance, equipment maintenance, proficiency testing, and quality management, following LifeLabs procedures.
- Stay informed and comply with all safety regulations related to the laboratory environment.
Requirements:
- Member in good standing or eligible for CMLTO Ontario.
- Hematology and Chemistry experience.
- College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Good computer skills and knowledge.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
