Housekeeping Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Silver Creek Lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping services
- Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure seamless service delivery
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to identify and address any issues or concerns
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of service and quality
- Coordinate contract services with external providers to ensure seamless service delivery
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times
- Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order
- Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that staff are meeting their performance goals
- Maintain accurate inventory records of supplies, equipment, and uniforms
- Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that all laundry is processed efficiently and effectively
- Coordinate dry cleaning and valet services to ensure that all guest laundry is processed to the highest standards
- Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are met at all times
- Conduct regular infection control audits to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping staff to ensure that they meet the highest standards of service and quality
- Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a housekeeping management role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Fluency in English
