The Hardware Design department at Solution SFT is responsible for providing innovative hardware solutions for our training devices. Our multidisciplinary team, trained and dedicated to its task, has vast expertise in various sectors such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and electronic engineering.

Our main mission is to design, customize, and manage the development of cost-effective and innovative hardware solutions aligned with our strategic plans and client requirements. We are committed to delivering highly technological products and services that are part of a digital ecosystem.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the analysis of drawings, specifications, and requirements from internal and external customers.
  • Assist in defining the simulator equipment configuration, and produce equipment lists, wiring diagrams, and electrical system schematics required to stimulate this equipment in a simulation environment.
  • Participate in design activities between engineering groups and manufacturing.
  • Define and prepare technical documentation and drawings for simulated panels/instruments.
  • Support third-party suppliers and vendors.
  • Participate in technical and conformance evaluations for simulated panels/instruments.
  • Participate in requirement and design reviews (PDRs, CDRs).
  • Participate in estimates.
  • Provide technical solutions to meet project requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering concepts.
  • Good working knowledge of CAD systems and word processing/spreadsheet software.
  • Good technical writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with electrical, avionic, and power systems.
  • Experience with simulated panel and instrument interfaces.
  • Experience with electrical signal distribution/interconnection technology, interface packaging, and power supply/distribution.
  • Manage priorities in the context of multiple and complex project deliveries.
  • Knowledge of aircraft instrumentation, D/A A/D conversion, serial communication data busses such as RS-232/422, USB, and of the ARINC 429, ARINC 600, and Mil-1553 standards would be considered an asset.
  • Experience with E2A, SEE Electrical, and Powerdraft would be an asset.
  • Bilingualism is required.
