We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at beBee Professionals in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for performing metal fabrication tasks to create and repair metal structures and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Perform metalwork operations using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc) to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain metalwork equipment and tools in good condition to ensure efficient production.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a metal fabrication program or apprenticeship.
  • Certification in metalwork techniques (e.g., AWS, CWB).
  • Previous experience as a metalworker in a manufacturing or construction setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with regular exposure to metal dust and fumes.
