Make a Difference in Addiction Care

Providence Health Care is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in providing compassionate and holistic nursing care to individuals struggling with addiction and substance use.

As a member of our interdisciplinary clinical team, you will work collaboratively to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care required to assist patients in meeting their physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient status and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct nursing interventions for crisis and life-threatening situations
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Lead patient and family education sessions

Requirements:

  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
