About the role:

Amber is seeking a highly motivated Lithuanian Localization QA Tester to work on an on-call basis at our Montreal offices. Training will be provided for individuals without prior experience.

The Quest:

  • Verify video game titles and ensure all text, images, and voice-over components in Lithuanian meet the highest standards
  • Identify translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
  • Report errors in a clear and concise manner through our bug-tracking database and/or translation document
  • Provide resolutions for reported errors to enhance the linguistic and translated content
  • Adhere to established terminology guidelines
  • Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
  • Communicate effectively with the Test Lead and address any problems that may arise

The Skills:

  • Native-level language competency in Lithuanian
  • Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
  • Familiarity with mobile, PC, and console devices, as well as their terminology
  • A genuine passion for video games
  • An unwavering commitment to attention to detail
  • Professional proficiency in English

Compensation:

  • $34.20 per hour (based on 17 CAD/hour)
