About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with 5-10 years of experience working in commercial brokerage or lending institutions in a dedicated loan underwriting position. The ideal candidate will have direct experience underwriting construction loans for residential building developers and possess strong leadership skills and initiative.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with internal leadership, third-party lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely collection and provision of required information and materials. You will also be responsible for advising on the best course of action to maximize the potential for desired loans and project financing to be awarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare loan documentation packages for submission to third-party lending institutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely collection of required information
  • Liaise with third-party lenders and underwriters regarding loan application submissions and approval processes
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial brokerage or lending institutions in a dedicated loan underwriting position
  • Direct experience underwriting construction loans for residential building developers
  • Strong leadership skills and initiative
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Strong verbal and written business communication skills
