Branksome Hall, a leading independent International Baccalaureate (IB) World School for girls, is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Junior School Occasional Supply Teacher to join our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.
  • Establish strong relationships with students and colleagues to ensure a positive and productive learning experience.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, as assigned by the classroom teacher.
  • Utilize technology to enhance instruction and support student learning.
  • Supervise students during lessons, recess, and lunch, as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Ontario College of Teachers certification or equivalent degree with Primary/Junior qualifications and a minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience.
  • Specialty in French, Phys Ed., or Music is an asset.
  • Experience in and knowledge of IB is an asset.
  • Proven ability to establish a caring rapport with students.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
