Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator Gopfert to join our team at Atlantic Packaging. This role involves operating and maintaining all press equipment and machinery to produce high-quality products in accordance with our quality policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team on the machine and work collaboratively to achieve production goals.
  • Determine the sequence of operations by following standard operating procedures and work orders.
  • Ensure the operation of equipment by troubleshooting problems and notifying the supervisor to obtain additional resources or necessary repairs.
  • Verify print and other specifications with production copy, visually inspect for any non-conformances.
  • Perform set-up procedures in an efficient and cost-effective manner and run at or above the standard set by the company.
  • Verify and input production data into the electronic CTI program.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 10
  • Basic Math
  • Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Machine operation skills

  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts
