Job Title: Government Sales Representative
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Government Sales Representative to join our team at Labris Global Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales of our products and/or services to government agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new business opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within government agencies to drive sales growth.
- Meet or exceed sales goals: Achieve or exceed sales targets by providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with government clients.
- Interact with existing customers: Understand the needs of existing customers and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with government clients to ensure long-term sales success.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth sales processes and achieve sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree: A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant sales experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant sales experience is required.
- Prior experience: Prior experience in any industry's sales role is an asset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes: Familiarity with government procurement processes is a must.
Skills and Competencies:
- Sales acumen: Ability to identify opportunities, negotiate, and close deals.
- Relationship-building: Cultivate strong relationships with government clients.
- Adaptability: Understand and navigate government bureaucracy.
- Communication: Clearly convey product benefits and value to potential clients.
Work Environment:
- Work from Home / Remote: This role offers the flexibility to work from home or remotely anywhere in Canada.
Eligibility Requirement: This position is open only to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
Part-time: 20-25 hours weekly / hours monthly
Base Salary: The base salary could range from $50,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on the relevant experience.
Commission or Bonus: Sales commission additional 8% to 10% of the base salary.
