Research and Development Co-Op Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Research and Development Co-Op Specialist to join our team at EVRAZ North America. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in product development, mill process optimization, and qualification testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development projects related to product improvement and process optimization.
- Participate in trial planning, data collection, and analysis.
- Collaborate with the research team to identify and implement improvements.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a recognized Engineering program at a Canadian University and completed a minimum of 1 year of the program.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D development software or Finite Element Method design packages.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 CAD, depending on location and experience. Our total compensation package includes competitive wages, family medical and dental coverage, short and long-term disability programs, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, employer-provided life insurance, paid vacation, and statutory holidays.
