Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal support services, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and communication.
  • Support clients with life skills, such as meal preparation, household management, and personal care.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, family members, colleagues, volunteers, and community partners to ensure high-quality care.
  • Develop and maintain supportive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma and experience in providing personal support services to individuals with disabilities and/or seniors.
  • Additional certification in personal support care, first aid, health care, or other related qualifications preferred.
  • Ability to empathize with individuals with physical and emotional needs.
  • Knowledge of basic math and ability to perform calculations and quantity measurements.
  • Ability to plan and organize work, prioritize tasks, and make solid decisions.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with a competent level of English.
  • Able to communicate in other languages is an asset.
  • Must demonstrate high commitment to providing exceptional customer service and be reliable, punctual, and capable of managing time effectively.
