About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Reitmans (Canada) Limited. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive customer engagement and loyalty
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to create a positive and inclusive store culture
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of leadership and supervisory experience in a retail environment
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with post-secondary education an asset
