Job Title: Intermediate Full Stack Developer

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join our team at Lightspeed Commerce. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product features and functionality
  • Develop clean, well-designed, and maintainable code using React, Typescript, PHP, and SQL
  • Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
  • Extend your skills by learning from and growing with the team
  • Help define the product transformation as Lightspeed evolves its offerings
Requirements:
  • Comfortable with front-end development using React and Typescript
  • Experience with PHP and relational databases (SQL)
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
  • Ability to contribute to technical design discussions and make technical decisions
  • Passion for learning new things and a desire to continuously improve
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment of SaaS applications
  • Knowledge of containerized development using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with real-time messaging systems (SQS, Pub/Sub)
  • Instrumentation and metrics
