We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Regional Manager to join our team at the Saint-Gobain Group. As a key member of our EHS team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our manufacturing sites in the region, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and guidance to multiple manufacturing, distribution, and mining operations within the region.
- Develop and implement EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
- Collaborate with site personnel to develop and implement training programs to promote EHS awareness and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to site personnel on EHS-related matters, including permitting, process reviews, and regulatory interpretation.
- Facilitate the sharing of best practices and knowledge within the region and with other members of the EHS team.
- Liaise with government agencies on EHS-related matters.
- Post-Secondary Diploma in an applied science-related field.
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate from a CCOHS-listed program.
- Environmental Management Certificate (preferred).
- 10-15 years of experience in the EHS field in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Multiple-site management experience.
- Strong active listening and communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude.
- Internal audit ISO 14001, 45001, COR (preferred).
- CRSP, CSP, CIH (preferred).
