Job Title: Intermodal Logistics Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermodal Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Challenger Motor Freight. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts from all aspects, including quoting, booking, and closing orders.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer experience is provided through prompt and effective communication.
  • Responsible for margin improvement through various methods, including optimizing routes and reducing costs.
  • Comply with customer volume expectations and investigate any shortfalls.
  • Respond quickly to spot quotes and customer requests, and be available after hours to assist with resolving issues.
  • Follow up on delivery delays or security issues, and ensure that all audit requirements are completed and scanned in our TMS system.
  • Close all orders in the TMS system within 24 hours of delivery, and collect PODs from carriers within 48 hours of receiving the email.
  • Obtain extra charges approval from customers within 48 hours of occurrence, and scan approvals into TMS.
  • Communicate ETAs to customers or receivers to book delivery appointments before storage is incurred.
  • Qualify carriers in our TMS and RMIS, and grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships.
  • Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail, and ensure that all information is properly communicated to peers to ensure coverage is always present.
  • Additional duties as required.
  • Must be Bilingual.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in TMS and RMIS systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
