Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Assistant Instructor to join our team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. As an Educational Assistant Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality educational programs and services to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, lectures, and demonstrations to students and staff.
  • Evaluate student progress through assessments, assignments, and observations, ensuring alignment with program and institute guidelines.
  • Employ flexible and responsive instructional methodologies to support blended learning experiences.
  • Design and deliver content that reflects the values, beliefs, and needs of a culturally diverse community.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students on the required learning platform.
  • Respond to curriculum demands and make necessary adjustments to meet learner needs.
  • Maintain and update curriculum materials.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with employer and educational requirements.
  • Develop working relationships with external partners and employers to support students in practical work experience.
  • Attend program and school meetings.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Two years' recent and relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong instructional ability and demonstrated competence in technology.
  • Ability to function as a team member in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated valuing of diversity.
